Acca calculator questions

How is an accumulator return calculated?

You multiply the decimal odds of every selection together to get the combined odds, then multiply by your stake for the total return. A £10 acca at combined odds of 20.0 returns £200, for £190 profit. Add or remove selections above and the numbers update live.

What are decimal odds?

Decimal odds show the total return per £1 staked, including your stake. Odds of 2.50 mean a £1 bet returns £2.50 (£1.50 profit). To convert fractional odds like 6/4, divide 6 by 4 and add 1, which gives 2.50.

Why does the implied chance get so small?

Each leg has to win, so the probabilities multiply down fast. A four-fold where each leg is roughly even money already needs everything to land, which is why accas pay big but come in rarely. The implied chance figure is the bookmaker-odds probability, before their margin.
