The Jacksonville Jaguars play the Philadelphia Eagles at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday 11 October, kick-off 2.30pm UK time. It is the second of three NFL London Games this autumn, after the Indianapolis Colts played the Washington Commanders at the same ground on 4 October, and before the Jaguars stay on for a second game against the Houston Texans at Wembley on 18 October. Jacksonville are the designated home side. They are also, for the second week running, the team Philadelphia are priced to lose to.
The case for Jacksonville
The Jaguars are 3-1, with wins over the New England Patriots, the Cleveland Browns and the Cincinnati Bengals. The numbers behind the record are better than the record. Going into the weekend they were second in the league in EPA per play and fourth in success rate on offence, seventh in EPA per play on defence, and they had the highest points difference in the AFC. Trevor Lawrence is averaging a career-high 8.1 yards per attempt. Under head coach Liam Coen, Jacksonville are 9-2 when favourites since the start of 2025, and 3-1 against the spread this season.
London is close to a second home. The Jaguars are 7-7 in their London games, and they are based in the UK for two weeks across this game and the Texans fixture, which removes the jet lag that undoes so many visiting teams. Their own injury list is short: Eric Murray and Caleb Ransaw were the two players listed as questionable.
The case for Philadelphia
The Eagles have the head-to-head. They have won the last five meetings, going back to September 2010, and the most recent was a 28-23 win in the rain at Lincoln Financial Field in November 2024. They opened this season with wins over Washington and Tennessee and still have a roster full of players who have won the biggest games there are.
The problem is the last fortnight. Philadelphia have lost two in a row, the second of them 24-20 to the Los Angeles Rams after leading by ten at half-time and failing to score after the break. Saquon Barkley and cornerback Quinyon Mitchell both went off in that game and did not return. The questionable list going into the week was long: Barkley, Mitchell, Lane Johnson, DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert, Jonathan Greenard, Tank Bigsby and Zack Baun. Jalen Hurts is averaging 6.3 yards per attempt, his lowest since he became the starter in 2021, and the offence ranks 29th in yards per play and 28th in EPA per play. The Eagles are 0-4 against the spread.
What looks the smart angle
William Hill and Betfred both price the game, and they split the best partner numbers. William Hill go 16/5 (4.20) on the Eagles, against 3/1 (4.00) at Betfred. Betfred are the better partner price on the Jaguars at 1/4 (1.25), against 2/9 (1.22) at William Hill. Among the books we have no deal with, Betway go 7/2 (4.50) on Philadelphia, the biggest away price on the board, and Unibet go 3/10 (1.30) on Jacksonville, the biggest home price.
Wednesday’s practice report did not help Philadelphia. Barkley and Smith, both with hamstring injuries, did not practise, and neither did Greenard with an ankle problem. Goedert, Mitchell and Baun, who is working back from a concussion, were limited. Lane Johnson missed the Rams game for personal reasons rather than injury.
A 1/4 favourite in a sport where single scores decide games is a short price to take, and the Eagles’ injury list is the main reason it is that short. If Barkley and Smith are both ruled out on Friday, it is probably still too big a number on Philadelphia. If they make it, 16/5 about a side that has won five straight against this opponent is the more interesting price. On form and on the underlying numbers, Jacksonville are the better team right now. That is our reading of the prices as they stood on Friday morning, not a prediction, and the final injury designations will move the market before kick-off.
We hold no deal with Unibet, Paddy Power, Betway, Coral, Ladbrokes, LeoVegas, 888sport or Bet Victor, which is why their prices do not link out. Virgin Bet had not priced the game when we checked.

Ad: The qualifying odds matter more than usual here, because the favourite is so short. William Hill’s bet £10, get £30 in free bets needs promo code R30, a £10 first deposit and a £10 single at 1/2 or bigger on any sports market. The Jaguars at 2/9 do not clear that bar, but the Eagles at 16/5 do. Once the bet settles you get three £10 free bets that last seven days and must be used in full. PayPal, Skrill, NETELLER, Apple Pay and several other deposit methods are excluded.
Betfred’s bet £10, get £50 in free bets is the biggest package of the three, paying £30 in sports free bets and £20 in Bet Builder free bets within 24 hours of settlement. The first bet has to be £10 or more at Evens (2.0) or bigger, so again the Jaguars at 1/4 will not qualify and the Eagles at 3/1 will. You have to deposit by debit card, and the free bets expire after seven days.
Virgin Bet’s welcome offer pays £20 in free bets plus 2 x £5 Bet Builder tokens after a £10 deposit and a £10+ qualifying bet at 1/2 (1.5) or bigger, placed within 14 days of registering. Virgin Bet had no price on this game when we checked, so the qualifying bet would go on something else, and with a fortnight to place it the Premier League weekend gives you plenty of choice.
For the long breaks an NFL game has, Virgin Bet also runs 100 free spins on Eye of Horus and 100 free spins on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas 2, both paying winnings as cash with no cap. William Hill’s 50 free spins on Mining Pots of Gold needs code M50 and a £10 stake, and it is the tighter deal: the spins expire 24 hours after issue and the most you can withdraw is £30.
If you think the Eagles’ record against Jacksonville counts for more than this season’s numbers, claim the William Hill welcome offer here and take the best partner price on Philadelphia.
