30 September 2026 – 6 October 2026 · King's Resort, Rozvadov, Czech Republic · UK time
The headline event of the first King’s Million European Poker Championship starts on Wednesday 30 September. Day 1A of the €1,150 Super Main Event kicks off at 6pm local time (17:00 UK) at King’s Resort in Rozvadov, and the number attached to it is €5 million guaranteed. Seven starting flights run through to Sunday 4 October, the survivors meet on Day 2 that same day, and the final table plays out on Tuesday 6 October, the last day of the whole festival.
Why this one is different
For more than a decade the autumn slot in Rozvadov belonged to WSOP Europe. That changed in 2026, when the series moved to Prague and switched to spring dates for the first time. King’s Resort built its own festival to fill the gap: three weeks, 16 September to 6 October, and more than €10 million guaranteed across the schedule. The Super Main Event carries half of that on its own.
A €5 million guarantee on a €1,150 buy-in is a big ask. Ignoring the rake, it needs well over 4,000 entries just to cover itself, which is why the structure is built around volume. The early signs from this festival are encouraging for the organisers. The €250 Mini Main Event that opened the series drew 4,389 entries against its €1 million guarantee, and Viorel Gavrila took it down for €125,500 and the first King’s Million trophy. The €1,000 Mystery Bounty (€1.5 million guaranteed) and the €600 Monsterstack (€1 million guaranteed) have kept the building busy since.
The flight schedule
Five of the seven starting days are Speed or Turbo flights, which suits players flying in for a weekend rather than the full week:
- Day 1A Speed: Wednesday 30 September, 6pm
- Day 1B Speed: Thursday 1 October, 6pm
- Day 1C: Friday 2 October, 11am
- Day 1D Speed: Friday 2 October, 6pm
- Day 1E: Saturday 3 October, 11am
- Day 1F Speed: Saturday 3 October, 6pm
- Day 1G Turbo: Sunday 4 October, 11am
There is also a Flip and Go Pineapple entry on Sunday 4 October at 2pm. All times are local, an hour ahead of the UK.
The €3,000 High Roller (€500,000 guaranteed) runs on 30 September and 1 October, right alongside the opening flights, and the €2,000 Masters (€500,000 guaranteed) and €500 Closer (€100,000 guaranteed) fill the final two days around the Main Event’s closing stages.
What looks the smart angle
There is no winner market to price on a field this size, and we are not going to invent one. The more useful question is which flight to play. The two full-structure flights, Day 1C and Day 1E, give the most play per chip and tend to suit patient players. The Speed flights reward aggression and suit anyone who wants a result in one evening. The Saturday flights are likely to be the biggest, since that is when the weekend crowd arrives, and bigger flights mean more players to get through before the money but a softer average opponent. On a guarantee this size there is also a real chance of an overlay if entries fall short, which only helps the players who turn up. That is a reading of the structure, not a recommendation to enter any particular event, and poker results carry heavy variance whichever flight you pick.
Elsewhere this week
England beat Czechia 2-0 in Prague on 29 September, under two hours’ drive from Rozvadov, and are away to Croatia on 3 October. Wales host Norway in Cardiff on 1 October and Denmark on 4 October, France play Italy at the Stade de France on 2 October, and the Qatar Prix de l’Arc de Triomphe is run at ParisLongchamp on 4 October. In snooker, the Shenzhen Open runs to 4 October in China with a £177,000 top prize, and Mark Williams defends the title.
The poker offer, and what it does and does not cover
Ad: William Hill’s poker welcome offer is the only verified poker offer we carry. New customers who deposit or transfer £10 or more to their poker account get a £100 bonus, but it is not cash: it is redeemed in two stages through WHPoints earned at real-money tables, and it expires in 45 days. You also get a Twister Discovery Pack of tournament tickets up front. Be clear about what that is. It is an online bankroll top-up for people who play regularly, not a route to a €1,150 seat in the Czech Republic. For a player who likes the idea of a week like this one, 45 days of online tournament volume is still decent practice for the structure.
If your week leans more towards the football, Virgin Bet’s welcome offer pays £20 in free bets plus 2 x £5 Bet Builder tokens for a £10 deposit and a £10+ bet at 1/2 or better. Betfred’s bet £10, get £50 in free bets needs a qualifying bet at Evens (2.0) or bigger, and William Hill’s bet £10, get £30 in free bets has the lowest qualifying-odds bar at 1/2 (1.5). For slots, Virgin Bet’s 100 free spins on Eye of Horus pays spin winnings as cash, while William Hill Vegas’s 200 free spins on Big Bass Splash needs code WHV200 and a £10 stake, and caps winnings at £30 with 10x wagering inside 72 hours.
